Most of the time we look so long at the closed door that we forget to see another door that has been opened for us. It all starts with a simple question which has been perplexing us since our childhood times.
Is the meaning of life only to acquire wealth, move up in social ladder, always craving for increasing social status and depart from this world with great dissatisfaction.
In fact, this question is haunting most of us in our life. We fail to understand that the life itself is very fragile. Our life span is like drop in sea water if compared on cosmic time scale which is 13.5 billion years old. This question is very relevant as our Indian society has now moved from extended family to nuclear family system.
God has not created all being as “Equals” in all aspects. Is it the responsibility of people which are well positioned, more knowledgeable and moved up in our social structure to contribute one way or another way for those who has left to the bottom in the race of life. We all can imagine how the death of bread earner can ruin the entire family and put the entire family in limbo. With increasing concentration of wealth in few individuals and large corporates which are engaged in vicious cycle of increasing its profit at any cost shall greatly impact the working class and other people of the society in coming future. Now a days educationist, economist, Media houses, and politician emphasize that the road towards happiness, wealth and prosperity is through “Capitalist” model of economy only and declared other social economic models as unsuccessful, flawed or impractical. The production of too many useful goods shall lead to create too many useless people. To move into this race of acquiring new goods and services; the human values are deteriorating, and people has become more self-centric.
We are seeing the rise in pseudo-democratic political system across the world. The only hope for human race is to keep the “emotions” and “moral values” intact which a machine cannot acquire by any means. Our mission is to keep these two qualities alive among us so as we all can join together and work as an extended family.
As it is well said " A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" A small band of people has embarked upon a new journey to connect the like-minded souls in our society to explain why it is important to “give back a little” to the society to make this society more livable and humane.
Be the extended family by joining our mission.
